Do you post only temporary jobs?

Yes, Short Stints is the hub and job board dedicated to serving job seekers and employers find and fill temporary positions. There are many other websites and job boards dedicated to serving the population seeking full-time employment.

While some employers and recruiters may seek out potential candidates on a temporary basis at first, and later transition them into full-time employment, not all employers and recruiters on this site will do this. For the purpose of this site, all job posts are for temporary jobs, fill-in, season, contract, intern, and consulting positions.

How do I create/submit a CV/Resume?

Creating a CV is quick and easy. You can create a profile and export it as a PDF to send to employers and recuiters or print, as desired.

How do I apply for a job?

To apply to a job, click “apply". You can use Short Stints profile and CV creator to create a desired resume from a pre-made professional template to send along. Alternatively, you can send your own Resume (.doc, .docx or .pdf only), contact details, and a message to the employer.

Employers and recruiters can then contact you by your preferred contact method (phone or email).

Do I have to sign up to create and export a CV/Resume?

Yes. The exported CV is based off your provided profile, qualification history, and employment history, along with your contact information.

Why can’t I login after applying?

It can take up to 2 business days to verify the information you’ve given us. You can access your account once it’s approved. If you’re having password issues, reset your password here.

Why do employers/recruiters have to apply for an account?

To ensure every user has a quality experience, we verify all employer/recruiter information.

Why was my employer/recruiter application denied?

On the rare occasion that this happens, check to ensure you provided the correct email address and confirmed your email in the confirmation email we send after you create an account. If problems still persist, contact us directly here.

How do I add a job post?

Adding a new job takes little to no time. In the dashboard, click “add new job post.” Fill out the appropriate information and submit.

What does Short Stints offer employers and recruiters?

As an employer or recruiter, basic job posts are live for 30 days and will appear in all relevant searches. Premium and featured job posts are highlighted in search results and contain no ads on the job view page.

In addition, for each candidate that applies to your job post, you will receive their contact details, CVs or Short Stints profile, and are able to contact candidates directly (based on their preferred method of contact).

How long is a job post live?

A job post is live for 30 days. You can view all job post information on your dashboard.

Where can I find all the jobs I’ve posted?

All your posts are available to view on your dashboard. You can view whether it’s live, expired, and the number of candidates who’ve applied.
